I designed and ran a randomized control trial across three districts and 35,000 farmers. By utilizing HCD principles, on average we increased lime adoption from 0.5% to over 13% in one year.

            25x Increase in Product Adoption

I hired and trained a brand new team for One Acre Fund, the Qualitative Specialists. While working in Kenya, I recognized that some of our products and trainings could be improved through increased farmer feedback. I trained the team on Human-Centered Design principles. We used these skills to revamp our lime product, develop a maize leaf-counting training, deep-dive into water quality issues, and many others.
